Until his death in 1948, he spent almost all summer here. In the imperial city recalls the magnificent imperial villa at the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. In the former summer residence of the Austrian imperial family is today a museum, which is documenting the close relationship between Bad Ischl and the Habsburgs.
